First of all, many thank to the Superstars of Burlesque and the loving audience that came out to see the show at the Music Box Theater. Time Out has posted some photos on their blog, so if you weren’t at the show, you can still feel like you were there.

Second, I will be in Laughlin, NV Sept. 1-5 performing at Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort Hotel and Casino in Sin City Burlesque. Should be fun!

Finally, the next reading event is Sept. 10th at Studio L’amour.

Reading this month is Mimi First, Greta Layne, and Dominique Trixx. Also returning, is the winner of ‘So You Wanna Be a Naked Girl,’ Ray Ray Sunshine! There’s also an online Treasure Hunt to win the treasure chest!

Toronto Burlesque Festival

I am very excited to be returning to Toronto for their annual burlesque festival – July 22-25!

The festival will open on July 21 with a special international version of Naked Girls Reading: Science Fiction.

Also, I will be teaching a feather boa class on July 24th at 11am in Toronto at the Dovercourt House Campus Dance Studio, 805 Dovercourt Rd. Register for class now! Please bring a boa to class.

Best Troupe – The Chicago Starlets!

Congratulations to the Chicago Starlets for winning the title of ‘Best Troupe’ at the Burlesque Hall of Fame! We are honored to have performed with such talent in our category! Thank you, thank you!

And now, this weekend, June 11-13, I will be performing in Asheville, North Carolina for the American Burlesque and Sideshow Festival. This is sure to be a show full of variety and traditional sideshow. Check it out if you’re in town.

While I am away, there will be a FREE Striptease Sampler at Studio L’amour on June 12 with Vivian Velvet, 12:15-1pm. This free class will introduce you to the magical world of burlesque.

Then, on June 13, there is Dr. Sketchy’s, 2-5pm, with Dominique Trixx and Vivian Velvet, all hosted by Lime Rickey. You will also have the opportunity to put some of your work into the Dr. Sketchy’s traveling Sketchbook. This is a BYOB event and you can reserve your spot now!

The Burlesque Pilgrimage

I am heading to Vegas this week for the Burlesque Hall of Fame Reunion and Pageant at the Plaza Hotel. I will be performing on Friday, June 4, in the Titans of Tease showcase. The Chicago Starlets are performing on June 5th to compete for ‘Best Troupe’, and Mimi First is also competing for the title of ‘Reigning Queen of Burlesque’. And to welcome you for the weekend, Frenchie Kiss and Jett Adore are performing on June 3rd in the opening showcase. Chicago is really represented this year! Come and support the dancers from the past and the present, only at the Burlesque Hall of Fame!
