First – 7pm: “Show Us Your Newbies” – the annual Studio L’amour Summer Striptease Student Showcase, featuring debut performances from a bevy of beauties taking it off on stage for the first time. Come see Lacie Roulet, Porcelain Pistol, Rosalina Riot, Ellie Flux, Penny Rose, Juliette Coquette, Crimson Auberginer and Viola D’Vine and be able to say “I knew ’em when…” [Tickets]
Next – 9pm: The “Chicago Starlet Reunion Show” featuring seven former Starlets in a triumphant return to the burlesque stage. If you have yearned for the days of Starlet yesteryear, come see Vivian Velvet, Dominique Trixx, Stella LaRocque, Ginny Fizz, CherokeeRose, Ivy Fabulous, Dorian Ames, and Fanny Tastic. [Tickets]
It’s a night of shiny and new versus the seasoned pros. And you’ll love them all! You can purchase tickets for the individual shows or attend them both and save!
Also coming up at Studio L’amour in July, we will have an abbreviated schedule and will only be offering classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We have Burlesque Basics and Teasin’ & Pleasin’ on both nights. The props for Teasin’ & Pleasin’ will be parasols, sarongs and bikini tops. How perfectly summery! We are also offering 2 Candlelight Burlesque Workshops: July 8 and July 29th. This will be a class done completely in candlelight and will focus on the sensuality of burlesque. You can register for all of these classes now! Classes begin the week of July 7th.
