Banned Books and Costume Sale

Got a big weekend coming up for you so get ready!

On September 29th, Naked Girls Reading is celebrating Banned Books Week!

Every September, the ALA organizes international Banned Books Week to draw attention to the problem of censorship in our country.

So we decided there was no better way to celebrate our F-READ-om than by taking our clothes off and doing it live in front of an audience!

Join the Revolution in Chicago on September 29th at Studio L’amour as we strip down and read selections from the Banned Books List.  TICKETS

Then, on September 30th and Oct 1st, I’m hosting a GIANT costume sale. Seriously…SO. MUCH. STUFF.

This is perfect if you need to update some costume pieces or you’re just looking for something fun to wear for Halloween. I will have things in a variety of sizes. I will also have extra material so you can buy fabric and make something of your own. Stop by Studio L’amour for all your sparkly, shiny needs!

See you this weekend!

Happy Anniversary Fan Club

I started a fan club one year ago on Patreon. It is the best platform to connect with my fans. There, I can truly be ‘The Most Naked Woman’, which is a nice freedom since I’m always have to edit and cut for my social media accounts. I’m very grateful to  my patrons there. They have really enabled me to create some new and exciting things and I’m getting to do a lot  more video now, which I enjoy so much! Here is an idea of what happens in the fan club. I’m really proud of this work and I hope I can share it with you. Can’t wait to see what year 2 brings! Join me, won’t you?

Eclipse

On Sunday, July 16th, at 3pm, I will be premiering the new video, Eclipse, I made in collaboration with composer, Mischa Zupko, at a private event at The Drifter. I’m really excited about this project. I got to work in a different capacity than normal and really stretch my acting chops. The day of the shoot was a really emotional and cathartic one. I’m really proud of the work we did and I’m happy to present it to you. As of now, I’ve only showed it to my fan club, but I finally get to show it publicly!  Join us on Sunday afternoon (yes, afternoon) and hear about the project, see the piece and have some cocktails!

Very few tickets are available. Please purchase tickets here.

Showgirl Style

Thank you for a fantastic birthday week and for coming out to my birthday show at Untitled. I LOVE jumping out of cakes!

Now, there are lots of fun things going on this week, not to mention my fresh excitement about dancing! I went to a ballet class for the first time in years last night and I’m just buzzing about it. But, more on that some other time.

First, my new TeaseTip is up at BurlyQ.com. It’s all about what is takes to follow your dreams and how important the ‘hustle’ is when you’re in the arts. I’m really enjoying writing these expanded Tease Tips, so I hope you will check it out.

Second, on April 23, Studio L’amour is having another Studio L’amour Teaser! This is a showcase of students, teachers and performers from the Chicago cabaret scene. It’s a very informal gathering to encourage the growth and development of acts in our city. I’ll be hosting, and that is always a fun time! Hope to see you there!

Finally, the new session is now available for Studio L’amour. Classes begin again on May 1st. I’ll be teaching a new class called ‘Showgirl’. It’s going to be an hour of parading, posing and prancing! Make sure to register for this and other classes here.
