2012 Literary Honors Award

Join me on November 16th at the Everleigh Social Club for the third annual Naked Girls Reading Literary Honors Award Gala where myself and Greta Layne will be awarding a cash prize for excellence to an emerging writer.

We received submissions from all over the world and judges have finally made their decisions.  This is a night that is not to be missed.  Witness history as a burgeoning young writer gets one of the most coveted prizes in the literary world, at least the naked literary world.

Fight for your WRITE!

Naked Girls Reading is accepting writing submissions for the 3rd annual Literary Honors Award.  The submission deadline is Sept. 1.  The finalists will be chosen by the Chicago Naked Girls and those finalists will then be sent to our final judges, a jury of professional writers.  Finalists will be notified in October and the award ceremony will be held at the Everlerigh Social Club in November.  For the past two years, we have awarded $500 to up and coming writers; Patty Templeton from Chicago and Elizabeth McClellan from Memphis.  We accept all genres.  Please see all the submission rules [here] and send in your work now!
