Each year, the Burlesque Hall of Fame holds a pageant, founded by the late great Dixie Evans, in Las Vegas that features burlesque stars of the past and crowns a new Queen. Michelle L’amour won the title of Miss Exotic World in 2005, the Chicago Starlets won Best Group in 2010, and Frenchie Kiss won Best Duo with Jett Adore in 2012. Then we’re back in Chicago on Halloween (Oct 31)! For the fourth year in a row, we continue the tradition of Naked GHOULS Reading by sitting around a “campfire” and regaling you with the scariest of scary tales, macabre moments and ghoulishly ghastly stories.
As always, we’ll be in “costume” while we expose paranormal phenomena before your very eyes. This is not for the faint of heart.
Join us on Halloween night for a special edition of the acclaimed literary salon that will also feature performances by the Chicago Starlets and Butthoven! We promise to scare our own pants off.
