I’ll be heading out to New York City this week and I’ve got a lot of fun things happening! Here are all the dirty details:

July 24 – Pretty Funny – The Cutting Room

Pretty Funny is back in NYC at the Cutting Room! This is the perfect blend of stand up comedy and burlesque! This show stars myself, Julie Atlas Muz, Dirty Martini, Janelle James, Joel Kim Booster, and hosted by Kenny DeForest. Get your tix now!

Then, on July 25th, I’ll be in a show called ‘Ass Freaks’ at Coney Island. Butthoven hits NYC! Check out all the details here.

And to round out my trip, I’ll be teachign on July 26 at The New York School of Burlesque – 440 Lafayette, Studio 4C

Tease Technique 3-4 pm- [Register] – $20

Brush up on your teasing skills and master the art of transitions, walks, bumps, grinds and shimmies. This class will include a full burlesque warm up and technical combinations across the floor. Wear comfortable clothing and bring your dance heels.

Stripping Behind the Fans 4.15-5.30 pm – [Register] – $25
Fan dancing is one thing, but stripping while holding fans is another! We will learn to switch grips quickly and how best to frame your body while removing articles of clothing while holding fans. Please bring a pair of fans, gloves and a bra.

Pretty Funny – Brooklyn – May 10

This week, I am heading to NYC to open Pretty Funny, the sister show to Chicago’s Wiggle Room!

In addition to myself, the show will feature a special guest appearance by the Chicago Starlets and New York performers, Minnie Tonka and Madame Rosebud.

Our featured comics will be Joyelle Nicole and Jermaine Fowler. Hosted by Kenny DeForest.

If you will be in New York this weekend or have friends that live there, send them over to Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn on May 10th. Show time is 5pm, right after brunch!

Burlesque in the Big Apple & Detroit

This week, I’ll be in NYC on Oct. 15 and 16. I’ll be teaching 2 classes at the New York School of Burlesque on Oct. 15 (Register) and then performing on Oct. 16 at The Slipper Room for the release of Melody Sweets’ new album.

Then, I’ll be in Detroit on Oct. 18 and 19 for Theater Bizarre! This is the ultimate Halloween experience, so be sure to check it out.

And finally, the winter session at Studio L’amour begins the week of Oct. 21st and we are currently accepting registration. Keep in mind, that this is the LAST session of 2013. So, if you’ve been waiting to take burlesque this year, now is the time! Props for beg/int and int/adv are boas, garters (the bands around the leg), and nighties.
