The Superstars Are Coming!

Prepare for burlesque royalty! The Superstars of Burlesque are back and heading to Chicago on September 16th! Performing at the Park West in 2 shows only (8 and 10pm) are Julie Atlas Muz, Kalani Kokonuts, Hot Toddy, The Stage Door Johnnies, Dirty Martini, Tigger!, The Chicago Starlets, Indigo Blue, Trixie Little and the Evil Hate Monkey, Roxi D’Lite, and me! All hosted by Mr. Showbiz, Murray Hill! Each performer is a Burlesque Hall of Fame Title Holder. 6pm-7pm: “Jazz Dancing for Burlesque” with Hot Toddy

Dance class focusing on the 40s/50s style dance, using isolation, jazz technique, and Fosse style dance movements that can be used to bring extra style to your burlesque routines.

Costuming and Presentation

Kalani Kokonuts will work with you as a group as well as one on one.

Belles and Whistles – Aug. 14 and 15

Coming up this weekend in Chicago is Belles and Whistles at the Music Box Theatre. Show are on Aug. 14 and 15 and are at midnight both nights and each show is different. The show features myself, the Chicago Starlets, Hot Toddy (King of Burlesque 2009), Tigger! (from NYC, King of Burlesque 2006), Tatah Dujour (Key West), Nadine Dubois (Minneapolis), the Oona Tramps and 123 Comedy. Advance tickets are $15 or 2 for $25. Tickets the day of are $20.

Also, to make your night complete, have dinner at Deleece Restaurant and mention that you are going to see the show and receive 20% off your bill!

NYC, LA, and Chicago

First of all, many thanks to the Toronto Burlesque Festival for including me in their show. I had a great time performing, teaching, and seeing all the shows. Congratulations!

This weekend, I’m heading to NYC to perform in the LAST shows at Corio’s called This is Burlesque. I will be doing one show on July 31 and 2 shows on Aug. 1. I will also be teaching at the New York School of Burlesque on Aug. 1.

After NYC, I’m heading to LA to open Lipshtick, a burlesque and stand up comedy show at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club. The show opens Aug. 7 and 8 and then runs on the 15th, 22nd, and 29th.

And finally, because I will miss you all so much, myself and the Chicago Starlets will be doing our biggest show ever at the Music Box Theatre August 14 and 15.
